Figure Drawings 2017-present

Starting in late 2017, I have been attending drawing sessions at Minerva Dunham’s Spring Street Studio, which was first on Broome Street in the Lower East Side, and then after Covid, moved to 91 Canal Street, in Chinatown. She hosts more than a dozen 3-hour figure drawing sessions — from quick poses to longer, 40-minute and even 3-hour poses — every week. The room is always full of practitioners, and the only sounds the quiet breathing, the scratch of pen or charcoal on paper, and the occasion sigh.

All works are 17” x 11”, either pencil, ink or water media. Prices range from $150-$750, depending. All works sold unframed. Contact the artist for any further questions.
