Mysticism in the Theater:
What’s Needed Right Now
After a decade working in the theater, I wrote this book exploring how to utilize classical mystical ideas in the living theater. This model grew out of theater’s history in Greece, at the intersection of performance and the spirit, and my three decades of work looking at how to bring mystical ideals of unity and connection to bear on creativity and contemporary society.
From June 2012, when I had my first theatrical production staged in an art gallery in Washington DC, I have written 60+ short and long plays, and had more than two dozen productions in New York City and Washington DC.
